Port Shiloh Waterpark Port Shiloh Waterpark, renovated in 1993, is a full-service, family oriented aquatics facility, offering programs to keep you cool and happy during the warm summer months. A highly trained, award-winning lifeguard staff is on hand to make sure that your visit to Port Shiloh is a safe and enjoyable one. We have arranged a slide show to help you get acquainted with the pool. Port Shiloh programs include: Public Swimming Hours Beginning in June each year Port Shiloh is open daily from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. During these times Port Shiloh is the perfect family aquatic destination. Features and amenities include zero depth pool, a lap pool for fitness and deeper water swimming, water play features, two water slides (one body slide and one tube slide), sand play areas and lawn sun areas. A full-service concession stand, with seating area, is also available. Learn-To-Swim Classes Sanctioned by the American Red Cross, lessons offered at Port are taught by a staff of trained instructors in a complete range of age and ability levels. Lessons from infant/pre-school through the advanced swimmer emphasize water safety and exploration; stroke readiness, development, refinement, and proficiency; and advanced skills. Pool & Slide Rentals During nonpublic and selected public hours, Port Shiloh is available for your group to rent for parties and special occasions. Dolphin Swim Team If your interest lies in competitive swimming, the Dolphin Swim Team is for you. Competing in the Northern Illinois Swim Conference, the Dolphin Swim Team is led by qualified coaches trained to help you improve as a competitive swimmer.
